Mike Snowden, who handcrafts each of his unique cigar box guitars out of exotic wooden cigar boxes and high quality hard woods, has played the electric bass guitar for over twenty years. He was bassist for the rock group Band de Soleil that rocked it out from Georgia to New York and from Louisiana to Colorado. The band opened for Indigo Girls, Joe Cocker, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, Dave Matthews Band, and others but also headlined at venues both large and small. The band's first album "Redemption Dream" (Daemon Records) was released both in the U.S. and abroad. He has several other studio recordings to his credit.

It is a collection of all original songs written by Mike Snowden and performed on his Cigar Box Guitars. Each of the cigar box guitars on the record were built by Mike Snowden.
